Extra virgin olive oil from northwestern Istria: BUŽA, an autochthonous Istrian variety obtained from olive groves located in the interior of Istria, on the terraces in Krasici. Oil of golden-green colour, moderate fruitiness, and balanced bitterness and piquancy. It goes perfectly with cream soups, vegetable dishes, hard cheeses, white meat and fish. BLEND was obtained as a mixture of Istrian bjelica, frantoio, lecina and pendolina varieties. It looks distinctly clear green, with intense fruitiness. Bitterness and spiciness alternate with each other and eventually combine, which gives it complexity and fullness of taste. Great to serve with roasts, venison, bluefish and fresh cheeses.
