We are a small family farm from the area of eastern Croatia. We live and work in the small town of Štitar, which is located in the Vukovar-Srijem County.
The Sava River flows along our place and it inspires us to start an additional activity of the family farm, which is “Rural Tourism”.
Our current activity is exclusively agriculture (farming, pig farming). From year to year we strive to improve and increase our production.
Our plan is to start our own pork processing in 2022 and sell it to the end consumer.
It would be a 100% product produced in our backyard, because we have our own production of spices for our needs, which we would also place on the market with cured meat products.
Only family members (3 members) work on our family farm. We are actively monitoring tenders for EU Funds and developing a strategy to withdraw as much money as possible, which we would certainly invest wisely.
Our household has been living exclusively from agriculture for more than a century or 5 generations.
